CASIO 8-bit Sampling PCM Rhythm Machine The RZ-1 is a rhythm machine released in 1986. It features 12 built-in drum sounds (reportedly sampled by Yukihiro Takahashi of YMO) and is characterized by its classic 80s drum sounds. Its most notable feature is onboard sampling, which allows you to sample up to four sounds. The sample rate is 20 kHz, and each of the four samples is limited to 0.2 seconds (or a single 0.8-second sample). It is a very lo-fi sampler, and like the E-MU SP-12/SP-1200, it dramatically alters the original sound. While CASIO is best known for the SK-1 sampling keyboard, the RZ-1 is another legendary sampler that Japan can be proud of and should not be overlooked. The plastic casing was cracked, so it has been repaired. As a result, there are cracks and some areas where the color differs. Otherwise, it has undergone the following maintenance and is in good working order. ・LCD backlight replacement ・Battery replacement ・Slider cleaning (partial disassembly and repair) ・Jack polishing and cleaning Condition: B: Shows significant scratches and signs of use, but functions perfectly for normal use Serial Number: 100928 Case: None Manual: None Other Accessories: AC Power Cord Notes: The only other accessories included are those shown in the photos. ----------------------------- ▼Please read carefully * This is a one-of-a-kind item. * Since this item is listed in-store and on multiple online marketplaces, there may be a delay in updating sales and inventory status; information is not real-time.
