Classic phaser BOSS pedal from the early days of Taïwan production. It's often considered highly tweakable compared to previous models (PH-1 and PH-1r, although admittedly less collectable) and more warm/organic than the modern PH-3. It's a black label made in Taïwan, which means it's part of the second production run (from 1988 - 1995), before the switch to the silver label version. The BOSS pedal decoder website dates it at February of 1992.Has seen some use but remains in good condition. Missing two screws in the back, not problem to maintain the backplate in place though. Everything still function as intended obviously. Although not first hand, it has been used mainly at home in a pet-free smoke-free env in recent years.
