The snare is from 2009, so it’s from the original Sakae series prior to the Korg takeover.
It is in virtually mint condition, with no dents or pitting on the chrome or wood. The only minor flaw is a small imperfection at the seam on the hoop (see last picture), which has been there from the factory.
An interesting detail: the snare is mislabeled on the inside. "SD1465MHZ" suggests a 6.5" depth, but the snare is actually 5.5" deep.
The mahogany offers a beautiful, full sound, and the snare has fantastic response.
It comes fitted with lightly played Evans heads and a Canopus snare wire setup.
