This Fender Mustang Bass was built in USA in 1977.
A previous owner modded the bass, replaced the pickup with a vintage p-style PU and added a low cut switch.
Since the late 1990ies I used it occasionally for rehearsals and a couple of gigs, but stopped playing it in the early 2000s because of the poor condition of the frets. Five years ago it got a complete refretting by a professional luthier. Now the Bass plays excellent again and thanks to the mod it is very powerful and versatile.
