Selling my very early compressor from Walrus before they became a private equity, so when they were still being run in a boutique fashion.
This example is built using through hole components and not SMD (surface mount devices) meaning it was put together by a human being and not a robot! I'm not claiming that this makes it better in any way but to me personally there is something about through hole that gives it mojo and besides it makes this pedal repair friendly. Talking about that, the through bypass switch has been replaced professionally by AMP-FX in Germany.
The price is based on the basis of what was mentioned previously, so if you care about things like that you will probably be happy investing in this pedal but if you can care less about those things then this isn't for you!
