This is 1999 Gibson J-150 Jumbo acoustic in natural finish fantastic condition, doesn't look like the 27 years it is. Has been only used for studio recordings and for songwriting at home. Never seen a stage, and therefore never modified to add pickups or similar. The guitar is in very good condition, has minor wear as it's been played a lot but always with the utmost care. A tiny ding on the upper side, where the arm rests.
Sweet, big, open sound, with powerful bass and very clear and defined mids and highs, very resonant top with long sustain.
Solid spruce top and maple back and sides with a nice flame. Rosewood moustache bridge and MOP inlays.
Basically a J-200 for a fraction of the price (as the only differences are cosmetic), the J-150 was discontinued by Gibson and no longer available. Some say it was too big a competition for the more expensive J-200 although both being built identically.
The J-150 is the guitar of choice for Noel Gallagher (see last picture) live and in the studio, so here's your chance to actually sound like The Chief for way less than the signature sunburst version.
