To achieve this, Fender relies on historically accurate specifications as part of the Vintera III Collection, such as an authentic Late ’60s C-shaped neck profile and a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with a true-to-original 7.25-inch radius. In terms of tone, too, the Fender Vintera III Late ’60s Stratocaster remains true to the standards of the era with its three vintage-style Late ’60s single-coil pickups. To achieve this, the single-coil pickups were wound to the specifications of the time, in order to replicate the sound of the late 1960s as closely as possible.
