Carbon fiber Tonal Tailpiece by Kenneth Kuho for double bass. First-generation model. Standard length: 345 mm. Tuned to 98.5 Hz (G♯), with the first partial being the strongest pitch component. Weight including tailcord: only 80.9 grams.
This tailpiece can make a significant difference to the bass’s attack and overall response. Especially recommended for muddy or overly boomy instruments, or for adding warmth and focus to a solo bass.
Professional installation is recommended.
