STUDER 903 26x2 Recording/Mixing Console

We`re selling our beloved Studer 903 switching to a new rack based recording setup to  gain some space in our control room. This desk has a wonderful clean yet characterful sound. Everything you would expect from a classic analog board. From fat drums, sliky vocals down to fuzzy D.I. guitars a la Motown...

This Desk has helped us record, mix and master many records by artists like: Lee "Scratch" Perry, Parcels, Alice Phoebe Lou, Mouse on Mars, Christian Lillinger, Lea Porcelain, Cassia, People Club, Juju Rodgers, Modha, Junk e Cat, Lukas Meister, Joy Wellboy and many more.

A desk of this model was also used for most productions of Olavur Arnalds incl. his Spitfire Sample libraries. 

It has 26 channels (16 mono, 5 Stereo) 4 Aux sends to 2 Summing busses. the 16 mono channels have mic preamps. All channels have an EQ (mono 3 band, stereo 4 band) and a fixed 12db filter at 80hz . Channel 3&4 have the deluxe 4 band EQ with switchable Q & bell/shelve filters as well as filters. LP 30-330hz HP 700hz-15Khz. the Monitoring section needs a new Volume Poti. Otherwise the desk is fully operational. Most of the channels where recapt within the last years. We bought it fully recapt in 2014.
 Direct outs are not available but the inserts (unbalanced/ can be used as such. we used Lawo line amps to balance the signal going into our ADCs witch can also give you a second gain stage for more variety  in sound
