The Eastman AR805CE Goldburst is a hand-carved, full-hollow archtop electric that blends boutique craft with working-player reliability. Its solid spruce top and solid maple back and sides are tuned for projection and warmth, while the set maple neck and elegant Venetian cutaway put classic jazz feel under your fingers. Refined appointments, from the gloss Goldburst finish to ivoroid binding and ebony hardware, complete a timeless look that means business on stage and in the studio.
A single Lollar Custom Wound Imperial humbucker in the neck position delivers velvet lows, singing mids, and an airy top end that hints at single-coil clarity without sacrificing the noise-free focus of a true humbucker. Paired with CTS 500K linear taper pots and a 0.047 uF cap, the circuit offers a wide, musical sweep from dark, smoky chord melody to articulate comping and lyrical lead lines. Clean tones bloom with piano-like fundamentals; nudge your amp and you get rounded, touch-sensitive crunch that stays smooth and controlled.
A Switchcraft jack ensures rock-solid reliability. True to golden-era architecture, the AR805CE uses a floating, adjustable ebony bridge and an ebony-on-brass trapeze tailpiece — an elegant hardtail that keeps the top lively and resonant. Gotoh gold tuners with ebony buttons deliver precise tuning stability.
Playability is effortless thanks to a 25-inch scale, a 12-inch-radius ebony fingerboard, medium-jumbo Jescar frets, and Eastman’s comfortable Even C neck profile, inviting extended chords, walking bass lines, and expressive vibrato with minimal effort.
