For sale is an original TAB / Telefunken V72 tube microphone preamp, one of the most legendary microphone amplifiers ever built. The V72 was widely used in German broadcast studios and famously in many classic recording environments including EMI studios.
This unit is an original broadcast module, not a modern clone, and has been fully refurbished by Tim Wood.
The V72 is highly regarded for its warm, rich and musical tube character, while still maintaining excellent clarity and depth. It is a favorite choice for:
