The AKG D9D-HL is a vintage omnidirectional dynamic microphone made in West Germany. It was designed as a reliable speech microphone with selectable impedance (High/Low) and an economical yet robust construction. 

The sound is clear, natural and well-balanced with a frequency response suited to speech and general audio capture.

BUILD & DESIGN

The AKG D9D-HL is a compact omnidirectional dynamic microphone built in West Germany during AKG’s classic era. It uses a Makrofol diaphragm housed in a robust plastic and metal body, designed for reliability and consistent performance rather than visual luxury.
