The Super Bassman is a rare and powerful version of the iconic Bassman, originally designed for bass but also favored by some guitarists for its wide, dynamic clean tone. It’s an all-tube head delivering 100 watts, with a circuit based on the Dual Showman. It runs four 6L6 power tubes and features two channels: Normal and Bass Instrument, each with its own volume, bass, mid, and treble controls. Its massive transformer and high headroom make it ideal for playing at high volumes without distortion—perfect for big, clean sounds or for use with pedals. This particular unit has been well maintained throughout its life, with the rear panel having been replaced.
