El ex guitarrista de Fleetwood Mac, Jeremy Spencer, eligió el AD15, y Jeremy telefoneó a Cliff para decirle lo bueno que era el combo AD15 para su estilo de tocar blues.
Posteriormente, en 1999, el AD15 ganó el “Editors’ Pick Award” de la revista estadounidense Guitar Player.
