This is the rarest guitar I have ever had the chance of keeping in my vintage Ibanez collection.

I even managed to acquire this with its original case as well.

The 2402 is the guitar that always gets the most attention by people when they have a look at my private collection.

I also invested a lot of time in order to have it restored as the 12 string bridge and the electronics for the toggle switch were beyond repair. As the bridge dimension on the 2402 are anything but regular, this was an odyssey but the German parts company Rockinger provided a quality solution for a fitting tune-o-Matic 12-string bridge.

The electronics were changed by a regional guitar tech specialized in vintage guitars.

Thus I have brought it back to live being fully playable.

After 50 years this vintage gem is of course showing signs of being played. See pictures for the dings on the finish. Also one of two strap pins is missing which I did not replace for the sake of keeping all of the wood in its unharmed condition.

There are no cracks or breaks anywhere in the wood that would compromise the structure of the guitar thus this beautiful instrument is about to last another 50 years.

For collectors and for those who want to play THE songs that requ a double neck, I am letting go of this.
