With the Player II Modified series, Fender delivers brand new instruments that have been equipped with modern features while retaining the traditional Fender sound! The Player II Modified Active Jazz Bass V stands for modern versatility in classic Fender guise. Equipped with two Player II Noiseless Jazz Bass V single coils and an active Preamp including 3-band EQ, this Jazz Bass is aimed at demanding bassists who are looking for a unique sound, dynamic response and flexible handling. This makes the five-string suitable for complex grooves as well as clear lines in lower registers - whether on stage, in the studio or in the rehearsal room! A Fender Deluxe gig bag is also included for safe transportation.

The alder body is complemented by a bolt-on maple neck with a modern "C" profile and is comfortable to hold thanks to the satin finish on the back. The maple fingerboard is equipped with 20 medium Jumbo frets, while the 9.5" radius ensures a balanced playing feel. Fast bass lines or demanding licks are played with ease in classic jazz bass style, guaranteeing maximum comfort for all genres and styles. A 5-saddle HiMass bridge ensures maximum tuning and intonation stability, which is perfectly complemented by tapered-shaft open-gear tuners and a TUSQ saddle.

Two Noiseless Jazz Bass V single coils form the tonal basis, delivering the classic Fender voicing, which is characterized by balanced bass components and precise mid-treble. Theactive Preamp is equippedwith a 3-band EQ and also offers a passive treble control for tone shaping - ideal for modern sounds with a vintage touch.
