Not only does the FLOW TUNE feature true bypass for outputting the sound exactly as it was input, but it now also has built-in BUFFER/BUFFER MONITOR modes.
Most electric guitars use passive pickups with a high impedance output. When using a cable, there is a noticeable loss of sound (usually at high frequencies) after about 6m, and this problem becomes worse the longer the cable. A buffer amplifies the signal over long cables to prevent loss of sound and keep it clean and clear - even when your pedal is turned off.
The BUFFER improves the sound quality in bypass mode, allowing you to maintain excellent audio quality even when using a long cable to connect to the tuner or inserting the tuner into a complex effects board. And with BUFFER MONITOR mode, you can even monitor all the notes you play in real time.
