The Markbass CMD JB Players School Bass Guitar Amplifier Combo has been designed from the ground up by bass supremo Jeff Berlin to be the perfect choice for anybody starting out on their bass-playing journey.

The Markbass CMD JB Players School combo pumps out 150 watts through a single 15” speaker, a combination that helps to produce the type of tone that has made Markbass the amp of choice for a huge number of players across the globe.  Accompanying this setup is a 4-band EQ section, comprising of bass, treble and two mid controls (hi and lo).

Joining the EQ on the Markbass CMD JB Players School bass combo are two controls that make the amp much more versatile than it appears.  The first is the Vintage Loudspeaker Emulator (VLE) control that progressively rolls off high and low frequencies to produce a classic, valve-like tone.  The second is the VPF (Variable Pre-shape Filter) control which offers up a variable amount of mid-scoop and produces an instant slap bass tone.

The main features of the Markbass CMD JB Players School Bass Guitar Amplifier Combo are:

  • 4-band EQ – bass, treble, hi and lo mid
