The Make Noise Dual Stereo Gate (DXG) is specifically designed to mix stereo signals and also features a 100% analog and unique low-pass circuit that operates without vactrols. Make Noise has put a lot of work and attention to detail into finalizing the new circuit approach and making it an added value to their previous circuit approach. Special care has been taken to ensure that the response, which is important for stereo signals, remains consistent, allowing the module to be an important part of any modular rack. In addition, the smooth single-pole filtering of a low-pass is better realized without losing sight of the slow decay of a vactrol-based low-pass. The STRIKE input allows the gate signal to be used to trigger the low-pass gate circuit, creating a "pluck" or "ping" sound from any Gate.
