With the Scarlett 2i2 audio interface from Focusrite, producers, sound designers, songwriters and mixing engineers can now record and release their songs more easily than ever before. Its compact dimensions, light weight of just 0.57 kg and ease of use make this USB 2.0 device the perfect companion in the studio, on the move or at home on the sofa!

The Scarlett interface features two microphone preamps with 48 V phantom power, enabling you to work with both dynamic and condenser microphones. The front panel features two Hi-Z inputs, so you can easily plug in your electric guitar and, for example, play your riffs using amp simulations. The built-in converters, as they offer an immense dynamic range of 120 dB. Professionals will recognise them from the RedNet series, which is why this represents a major upgrade on the Scarlett 2i2.

Air Mode

Want to give your recording that certain something? Air Mode allows you to achieve first-class presence and harmonious saturation. It emulates a large studio mixing desk to give your voice or instrument a distinctive character.

Dynamic Gain Halos

Thanks to the dynamic gain halos with visual feedback, you can quickly and easily level any microphone or instrument signal.

Loopback

Using the Scarlett’s virtual inputs, you can create your own samples using audio signals from your computer. Gamers and streamers also benefit from this feature, as it makes it easier to record in-game footage.

Auto Gain

When you press this button, the interface will find the perfect level whilst you play or sing for ten seconds.

Clip Safe

Have you always wanted a sound engineer to monitor your recordings? No problem – Clip Safe automatically adjusts the preamp gain if there’s a risk of clipping!

So that you can start letting your creativity run wild straight after unpacking and plugging in, you’ll receive Ableton Live Lite – a popular DAW for all kinds of music production – free of charge! Recording, mixing and editing tools will help you achieve your musical goals!
