The Darkglass Alpha Omega is a preamp/distortion pedal for electric bass guitar. This unique pedal was designed in collaboration with Australian bassist Jon Stockman. The Alpha Omega is a highly flexible preamp with its 3-band EQ and balanced XLR DI output. It has two distinct distortion circuits (Alpha & Omega) that can be blended via the ‘Mod’ control. The Alpha circuit provides a tight, punchy overdrive sound and the Omega circuit delivers a brutal, raw distortion. The unit features a ¼” jack input, a ¼” output and a ¼” parallel output that sends a clean, unaffected signal. The Alpha Omega is powered by a 9V DC adapter.
