The PreSonus FaderPort 16 is a hardware control surface for recording studios. It lets you control your recording and mixing software with physical faders, buttons and rotary encoders instead of relying entirely on a mouse and keyboard.

Its biggest attraction is that it gives you 16 motorized faders at your fingertips, making it particularly useful when mixing larger projects with lots of tracks.

The FaderPort 16 is not an audio interface, mixer or standalone effects processor. It is a dedicated controller for a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW), such as Studio One, Logic Pro, Cubase or Pro Tools.

• Mixing: Adjust track volumes with 16 touch-sensitive, motorized faders.
• Automation: Write, touch, latch and read volume or other supported automation.
• Panning: Control track pan positions using rotary encoders.
• Transport: Start, stop, record, rewind and navigate your session using dedicated buttons.
• Navigation: Select tracks, move between channels, use track groups and access different mixing functions.
• Workflow: Use shortcuts and control buttons to spend less time clicking around the screen.

The motorized faders follow the settings in your DAW. If you change a track's volume using the mouse, the corresponding physical fader moves to reflect that value.
