Vintage Microtech Gefell MV 101 tube measurement microphone with 1-inch MK 102 nickel capsule and original wooden case.Up for sale is a beautiful piece of East German audio history: a vintage Microtech Gefell MV 101 tube microphone preamplifier paired with the legendary and highly sought-after MK 102 1-inch nickel diaphragm capsule (Serial Number: 4714). Manufactured in the GDR (East Germany) by VEB Mikrofontechnik Gefell. The MK 102 is a premium omnidirectional capsule, renowned among audio engineers for its incredibly flat frequency response and exceptional, "silky" vintage sound, often adapted for acoustic instruments and overheads in modern studio environments.Condition and Product Details:

• Preamplifier Body: Gefell MV 101 (Made in GDR). The threads and connecting pins are in excellent visual condition.
• Capsule: Detachable MK 102 1" nickel capsule model (S/N 4714). The internal gold-plated center contact and threads are very clean and well-preserved (see photos).
• Cosmetics: Very good vintage condition. The microphone body and capsule look exceptionally clean for their age, showing only light signs of use. The original protective wooden box is included.
• Technical Condition: UNTESTED / SOLD AS IS. I do not possess the required power supply (such as the Gefell MN 630 PSU) or the matching multi-pin cables to power it up and test the internal EC 760 tube. For this reason, the microphone is sold strictly "as is" for parts, restoration, or collection. No returns or refunds.
