USA Fender Champ - 1979 - EU plug - Jensen speaker upgrade.

This is the classic small Fender studio / home / small gigs amp. Made in 1979, it is one of the last Silverface Champs, and it's had a speaker upgrade, from the stock Fender to a blue label Jensen. The Jensen gives the amp a much wider sound and a better tonal response. And it breaks up beautifully when you crank it up!

I owned a 1978 Vibro Champ before this, but this is a better sounding amp. It takes pedals very well, too. If you're looking for the classic Fender small amp sound, this really is it. Everyone uses Champs in the studio, they just sound so good for everything - guitar, electric piano, organ, synth, even bass if you keep the volume down. Champs do it all, brilliantly.

I've only used this in the studio and at home, never gigged it. The previous owner might have done small gigs with it, but there's no way to know for sure. It's in great condition, though
