Up for sale is a mid-90s made in Korea Danelectro 59-12string in this gorgeous sparkle blue finish. Aside from the remarkable aesthetics, it also plays very well for a 12string, holds tune (thank god) and the neck is not "stressed" when tuning to standard. These Dano's that were made in Korea are truly a step above the current production models. Pickups sound great, classic Danelectro chime and jangle which works really well on a 12 string. The bridge offers individual intonation of each string. Currently set up with Pyramid flat wound .10 12string set.
I preferred to use it on the middle position and dialling in the pickups to taste. The concentric pots, meaning that each pick up has a tone and volume available, are a godsend in this regard compared to the modern single volume and single tone.
The guitar, despite being gigged occasionally, has held up very well, the only visible damage is a very small dent in the thick pickguard (pictured).
It also includes the original tweed case, however I would advise against using this case for travelling or going around town since the latches are very finicky and pop open unexpectedly (with the exception of one). If shipped, I will therefore tape the case shut. The guitar does fit in a Gator ProGo gigbag (FWIW)
Pickup in Brussels preferred, get in touch if you want it to be shipped (EU and UK only; be aware of taxes and duties for UK!).
Not really open for trades, might be swayed by an Epiphone Hummingbird 12string, but no promises...
Thanks for looking at my listing and let me know if you have any questions.
