The glued-in maple neck has an ebony fingerboard with 24 frets and a radius of 10 inches, making the instrument comfortable to play and allowing both precise riffs and expressive lead parts to be played effortlessly. In terms of sound, the guitar relies on two TCI "S" humbuckers, which cover a broad spectrum from warm, vintage-inspired sounds to clearly defined trebles. The electronics are complemented by mini-switches for the coil tap function, which can be used to call up additional wiry single-coil sounds. The built-in nickel version of Hardware - consisting of PRS Tremolo and matching PRS tuners - ensures robust tuning and precise intonation.
