The MXR reverb features six distinct high-end reverb styles, each specially designed and tuned by MXR's award-winning design team. It all comes in a standard-sized MXR enclosure with a simple three-button configuration and a high-fidelity analog dry path with a whopping 20 volts of headroom reserve thanks to Constant Headroom Technology . Each reverb style is as richly detailed as that of the highest-end rack units and plug-ins, and all you have to do to browse them is press the Tone button. The PLATE parameter offers a shimmering, fluid wash of space, a must-have choice in the world of studio recording. SPRING sets a new standard for truly authentic-sounding reverb without the metal wire - a perfect recreation of the classic amp-based effect, with the tone control taking you from a dark vintage amp spring, to a classic jangle, to brilliant surf splashes. EPIC is a unique combination of multiple intertwined tone delay lines and complex modulation - perfect for solos in that shadier part of the moonscape. MOD throws a plate-flavored space with richly organic modulation in the feedback path. ROOM style adds subtle body and projection to your guitar sound at shorter decay times while longer decay times produce a rich organic space that doesn't wash out.
