The Bonsai utilizes a simple rotary knob to switch through nine classic, vintage, rare, or hard to find variations of the Screamer. Using their Audio Precision analyzer and various other methods, the designers at JHS Pedals painstakingly replicated every nuance and aspect of each pedal.
Nine pedal modes replicate the 1977 OD-1, 1979 TS-808, 1982 TS-9, 1985 Power or L Series MSL, 1986 TS-10, 1989 Exar OD-1, 1999 TS-7 (+Mode), 2002 Keeley Mod Plus, and 2008 JHS Strong ModVolume, tone, and drive knobs allow you to shape the tone of each pedal mode
