The official Fender 60s 13 Hole 3 Ply Precision P Bass Scratchplate/Pickguard offers a quick and easy way to change the look of your Bass and is the authentic way to replace worn or missing parts.Made in the USA, this multi ply plastic pickguard fits their USA made bass guitars in the Standard, Vintage and American Series and fits their made in Mexico Standard and Deluxe Series models. Featuring their vintage 13 mounting hole layout (mounting screws sold separately), it has all the routing needed for electronics. It has a truss rod notch at the base of the neck pocket, to make neck regular adjustments easier. Fender have pre-drilled the ‘guard to mount a vintage style thumb rest and chrome pickup cover (sold separately), so you can maximize the vintage vibe. It would make an excellent replacement for a vintage bass that has a warped, delicate, or crumbling celluloid ‘guard or could bring a new level of sophistication to a modern instrument.
