Welcome to La Bellevilloise, venue of the second Le salon de la guitare, held this past weekend in Paris.
Le savoir-faire français was alive and well at this 2-day event, particularly with special guest Jean-Pierre Favino, whose studio is currently celebrating its 70th year. About 25 luthiers were in attendance, focusing on Acoustic and Arch Tops. There’s nothing like discovering (and rediscovering) the magic of this lutherie, and the demos and new friends made it all the better.
