This is a great project for someone who builds,fixes guitars and knows how to wire these type of guitars ...
The body is beautifully made and has an awesome paint job and gloss finish along with the white striped binding around the entire edge ...it's made exactly from the specs of the "American pro 2 deluxe tele" ..it has the fender wide pickups (expensive buggers!!)
As I indicated The body was hand crafted to the exact specs as the pro 2 deluxe body and was hand crafted by my friends at Canadian Craftsman (who do all my bodies,necks when I do a custom build) Amazing Craftsmen !!
The guitar is in excellent condition althou!gh I have to add that I had trouble with one of the tone pots ..it's good but just a wire issue...I've spent years wiring guitars but this one with all the split coils , push push pots and little circuit chips are beyond my "old school" skills ...
Easy for someone more up to date on these and other types of guitars that have specialized wiring....I wired it and all works but obviously it needs rewired properly ..ALL the wiring ,split coils, push push pots , chips , diodes etc are included ..
I just couldnt get that freakin 1 tone pot wired right to work!! Lol...
Anyway the body is worth the price alone but I'd like to see it get used as I have many guitars and many guitars to work on that are more my thing and this one is just sitting here staring at me ..lol
