Here's a chance to score an original first version Celestion G12T-75 pulled from a stock 1984 JCM800 1960A.
For those unaware, this is the earliest version of G12T-75 identified by its "Vent" (in the center of the magnet) and said to have been used for the recording of Metallica's Master of Puppets.
These are the rarest G12T-75 and most desirable by collectors. Regarded by many as the best sounding version of this speaker.
They sound much different compared to all the other versions that followed, with a more defined and tighter bass response, enhanced low-mid emphasis and aggressive mids that aren't as scooped, offering a unique tonal character and attitude that pairs especially well for Classic Rock, Hard Rock and Metal.
