For sale is a beautiful 1977 left handed 4001 bass. It is a black plastic mapleglo, all original except for the bridge pickup which was replaced with a seymore Duncan. The original bridge pickup is included, however, needs to be rewound.

I am the third owner of this bass. It was originally purchased in the 70s by a fellow in the Uk, then made its way to a buyer in Edmonton before making its way to me.

A great piece of history, and a spectacular vintage bass with a nice thin neck.

There is some light buckle rash on the backside, and a few small dings here and there. It’s almost 50 years old!
