The Zlob Modular Diode Chaos is a compact 3HP Eurorack module that generates chaotic low-frequency voltages for evolving modulation, random-like movement, and unpredictable trigger patterns. Based on an analogue chaotic circuit using a light-emitting diode, it produces three interrelated morphing voltage outputs plus a chaotic trigger output, making it a creative source of motion for filters, oscillators, VCAs, sequencers, and other modulation destinations.

Unlike simple random voltage sources, Diode Chaos creates irregular but related voltage behavior across its outputs, giving patches a more organic and connected feel. The RATE control moves the circuit from slow cycles around 20-30 seconds up to audio-rate behavior, while the X, Y, and Z outputs each respond differently depending on the speed setting. The TRIG output delivers chaotic trigger pulses from 0-10V, adding unstable rhythmic activity for experimental sequencing and modulation.
