Eastman MD815/V F-Style Mandolin – Antique Varnish – Mint w/ OHSC
Eastman MD815/V F-style mandolin in mint condition. Purchased new a couple of months ago — this instrument has seen very light home use only and shows no wear whatsoever.
The MD815/V sits near the top of Eastman's line, from their Antique Varnish series. The hand-applied varnish finish is thinner and softer than modern lacquer, letting the top move more freely — the result is a dry, woody, open tone with excellent volume and headroom. Great bluegrass chop and clear, sweet tremolo.
