This instrument stands out with its highly advanced ergonomics. The select maple neck features a Modern "D" profile with an ultra-smooth Ultra Satin finish and carefully rolled fingerboard edges. A sculpted neck heel allows effortless, total access to the upper frets. Additionally, the fingerboard features a 10"-14" compound radius, offering exceptional fluid playability perfect for all techniques, from heavy slapping to fast fingerstyle and soloing. For dark stages, the bass comes equipped with glow-in-the-dark Luminlay® side dots.
Sonically, the Ultra II Noiselessâ„¢ Vintage Jazz Bass pickups deliver the legendary punch, growl, and clarity of a classic J-Bass without any of the unwanted single-coil hum. They are paired with a redesigned, state-of-the-art 18V active preamp featuring a surgically precise 3-band EQ and a mini-toggle switch to instantly flip into passive mode.
