Original Fender bass case from the 1967–1971 era (the fender "tail" emblem marks it from this era). Overall, it’s in good vintage condition and would make an excellent period-correct case for a late-’60s or early-’70s Fender bass.
The locking latches are somewhat bent and appear to have been replaced at some point in the past, but they remain mostly functional (they are a bit fiddly). The rest of the case is in good overall condition for its age, with the expected cosmetic wear from decades of use.
If you’re looking to complete the originality of your vintage Fender Precision Bass or Jazz Bass with an authentic period-correct case, this is a great option.
