Marshall Vintage Series 1959SLP Super Lead 100W Head -2005-

The legendary 1959SLP guitar amp, which was discontinued in March 2020, has arrived in our store as a used item!

Born from a single request by The Whofs guitarist Pete Townshend, this g1959 Super Lead Plexih instantly captivated guitarists of the era and remains an amp beloved by many fans even now, some 60 years later.

Since production began in the late 1960s, the 1959 has undergone various circuit and cosmetic improvements, but Marshall enthusiasts unanimously agree that gthe models manufactured from the late 1960s to the early 1970s are the best!hThe 1959SLP (production discontinued in March 2020) is a perfect reissue that masterfully recreates the superb tone and velvety-smooth, rich overdrive characteristic of models from that era. It allows for versatile tone shaping via channel linking and is equipped with an effects loop, enabling a wide range of sound creation.

The circuit uses a printed circuit board, with Dagnall Electronics Ltd TXMA 00029/TXOP 00006/INDT 00013 transformers and JJ Tube E34L ~4, Marshall ECC83 ~2, and SOVTEK 12AX7WA ~1 tubes.

It has been fully serviced at our repair center, including wiring corrections, preamp tube replacement, bias adjustment, PSE inspection, general inspection, and cleaning, so it is ready to use immediately.
It shows significant signs of use, with numerous scratches and peeling Torrex, and two additional screw holes have been added to the mesh section of the back panel.
