The neck had an earlier repair with a screw which was expertly repaired and reset by Rob McKay Guitars in Spencerville, Ontario.  The ferrule for the E string was routed out to install a Hipshot guitar D-tuner and I've lost the original washer, as you can see in the photos.  The bridge pickup wasn't working and I replaced it with a new replica staple pickup from Hofner in Germany, who also provided me with a new pearloid pickguard, as the original was lost long before I bought it. I will incude the original pickup in the case. The bass comes with the original green felt-lined hinge case. The bass is strung with aged Pyramid Gold flatwound strings.
