Fully functioning, vintage Coron DS-7 Drum Synce analog synthesizer. Some scratchiness in pots when sweeping through settings but clean tones once set. Mode knob missing silver insert.
The DS-7 is a triggerable, programmable analog synthesizer designed specifically for percussion applications. It can do huge bass, thick snares, classic 80s electronic toms, lasers, R2D2 weirdness, all sorts of fun and big sounds.
The DS-7 features a built-in mounting bracket that allows it to be attached directly to a drum rim or virtually any surface where vibrations can be captured. Its internal piezo sensor detects those vibrations and uses them to trigger the synthesizer. Alternatively, the Drum Synce can function as a dedicated sound module by accepting external trigger inputs.
- Volume: controls the output volume
- Sensitivity: controls the sensitivity of the module (the threshold at which it is triggered)
- Rate: controls the speed/rate of the LFO wave that controls the pitch
- Decay: controls the length of the sound
- Mode: controls the depth of the LFO wave that controls the pitch
- VCO: controls the pitch of the Oscillator
- Sweep: controls the range in which the oscillator sweeps
I have a recent video demo of the unit available on Dropbox I can forward you a link to if you message me. The video below is the same model, not my unit.
