Whirlwind Rochester Series Orange Box Phaser Pedal
USA-made one-knob analog phaser with vintage Phase 90-style sweep, true bypass, and simple stage-ready control
The Whirlwind Orange Box Phaser is a no-fuss analog phaser designed for players who want classic vintage swirl without a complicated control layout. It is part of Whirlwind’s Rochester Series and is known for warm, musical phase tones inspired by early ’70s MXR-style phasers.
This pedal keeps the layout simple with a single Speed/Rate control, making it easy to dial in slow, chewy movement, medium classic rock sweep, or faster rotary-style modulation. It works well before or after overdrive and is a strong fit for classic rock, psych, funk, blues, stoner rock, indie, lead parts, clean rhythm textures, and bass.
Unlike some vintage-style phasers, this version includes a 9V DC power jack, LED indicator, and true bypass switching, making it more practical for modern pedalboards.
Condition:
Good used/player-grade condition with normal cosmetic wear from use. The enclosure shows small scratches, light scuffs, minor edge marks, and handling wear. The footswitch and jack hardware show some natural tarnish/oxidation from age and use.
The bottom has a large Velcro-style pad attached from previous pedalboard mounting.
Pedal only. No box, power supply, 9V battery, paperwork, instrument cables, or additional accessories included.
