Up for sale is my Steve Patience Grand Concert Cutaway [essentially a GA deep body] with a highly figured Master grade solid Narra back and sides and a solid Adirondack Spruce top with a beautiful rich creamy yellow golden hued aged patina ; Bloodwood bindings and accents.

Serial No. 0710100 signed by the late Steve Patience. This is Steve Patience 100th guitar build and he used some pretty exotic woods for this one ; Steve himself mentioned to me this one was the best piece of exquisite Adirondack he had available ; and i see it's beauty shows for itself ; creamy yellow , tight straight grained ; this build is gorgeous and honestly everytime i pull out this guitar and look at the figured Narra , I'm noticing more varigation in the wood figure ; every turning of the wood in the light shows more chatoyance and depth of figuring ; the smooth high gloss nitrocellulose finish only enhances this movement ; if a "red guitar" is high on your appeal list , as most do , you will love this aesthetic!

This guitar is all Acoustic. All solid woods on this instrument. Steve Patience appears to have all the build inspiration of Dowina Guitars with a Custom guitar uniqueness with each build. Steve was very particular about the quality of the woods he choose and the aesthetic combination. I dealt with him on a few guitar purchases and on one custom build , and he really knew his wood selections well.

The headstock logo is quite cool a brilliant piece of round silver/blue/green abalone and Steve's unique cut to represent his Initials.

I am the original owner of this guitar several years now which I had purchased direct from Steve Patience out of CA , USA ; however it has little play time on it - my reason for selling is to thin the herd.

I'm a man-cave player , so this beautiful Grand Concert guitar has never been out of my home , and unless played , it's in the case , in my temp/humidity controlled environment.

It is in Excellent to Mint condition, no scratches, no dings, and may find only the faintest micro swirling - just 'cause that's the way i keep all my instruments. If I have to mention anything there is some very slight seam separation [not splitting] down the top centre join ; it's essentially aesthetic in my opinion [not an entirely unsual occurrence in my experience and nothing worthy of needing a repair] ; has been there probably since the year I received it and is entirely stable.

I give this guitar two thumbs up for it's deep rich balanced "Mahogany" like wood tone ; the top end on Steve's guitars are thick and chimey [not shrill] and very well balanced sonorous tone between the mids and bass ; this tone accentuated with that beautiful Adirondack top. I play only fingerstyle guitar and this one has a solid great feel and tone to it.

This guitar has amazing construction , wood selection and specs for the price , with some of the key features being...

- American hand built construction [100th build special]

- Solid Adirondack Spruce top with a creamy yellow golden hued aged patina

- Gorgeous Figured Master grade Nara back and sides

- Bloodwood bindings and accents

- Figured Narra headstock veneer to match the body and bindings

- Ebony fretboard with abalone dots and Abalone rosette

- high gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish full body and headstock plate

- 14 fret body join

- bone nut and saddle

- low oval C shape neck carve with gloss finish

- Wilkinson closed back nimi tuners

Using digital calipers the nut width is 1" &¹³/¹⁶"

String spacing at the saddle is 2" &⅜" [outside to outside on the E strings]

Scale Length is 25" &⅜"

Nara body depth...

Lower bout at the end = 4" &⅞"

Upper body at the heal neck join 4.0"

Lower bout 15" &¾"

Upper bout 10" &¼"

I would describe the neck as a fast medium oval or C shape great for fingerstyle guitar which is what I play.

As for the radius I give it a 12 inch , I don't have the instrument to measure this exactly , but I've owned many guitars and this neck radius is quite normal , not too rounded nor too flat.

Strings on are a new set of D'Addario EXP 80/20 Brz 12-53

It also comes with an ACCESS arch top tolex covered hardshell case with plush black interior.

My asking price is set reasonable , therefore i do not consider a best offer option at this time with the sale price reduction.
