Fender unfortunately doesn’t make this amp - but here is a chance to own a professionally made copy with the highest quality modern parts in a handwired configuration that is only a fraction of what a genuine vintage one would cost.

The Fender Brownface 6G3 Deluxe is widely considered the "missing link" in Fender's amplifier history, bridging the gap between the raw, mid-heavy 1950s Tweed era and the scooped, pristine 1960s Blackface era. • Thick, Present Midrange: Unlike later Blackface amps that feature a "scooped" mid-profile, the 6G3has a very strong, prominent midrange. The mids are punchy, crisp, and vocal, giving the amp incredible immediate presence in a mix.
• Early and Aggressive Overdrive: The 6G3 does not offer much clean headroom. It begins to break up very early on the volume dial (often around 2 or 3). The resulting distortion is incredibly rich, chewy, and snarling, leaning heavily into a classic British rock crunch.
• Smooth, Rounded Highs: The treble on a Brownface Deluxe is complementary and less piercing than later Blackface models. It provides plenty of bite and "rudeness" (especially on the Bright channel), but remains smooth, compressed, and lacking in harsh, sizzling upper-treble frequencies.
• Tight, Focused Low End: While it retains some of the "gruffness" of a Tweed amp, its bass response is much tighter, punchier, and less muddy or "boomy" than its predecessors.

• Normal Channel: Warmer, woodier, and slightly darker. It is excellent for warm jazz cleans at low volumes or thick, smoky blues tones when pushed.

The Bias-Modulated TremoloInstead of the "harmonic tremolo" found in larger Brownface amps, the 6G3 uses a bias-modulated tremolo circuit. Tonally, this effect is incredibly lush, deep, and swampy. Because it directly modulates the bias of the power tubes, the tremolo actually responds to your playing dynamics—pulsing heavily as your notes decay and smoothing out when you strike a chord aggressively.
