The Fender Yngwie Malmsteen Stratocaster in Vintage White leans heavily into the classic Strat aesthetic, but with details that set it apart the second you get closer. The Vintage White finish has that aged, creamy tone that pairs perfectly with the gloss urethane, giving it a subtle vintage vibe without looking worn out. The scalloped rosewood fretboard is the visual giveaway that this is something different, creating an aggressive-looking fretboard, while the brass nut and aged plastics tie into the old-school aesthetic. It looks like a traditional Strat at first glance, but the details make it clear this is built for a very specific style of player.

In hand, the feel is completely unique if you have never spent time on a scalloped fretboard. Scalloping consists of routing out the wood between the frets to eliminate contact with the wood, so everything comes down to finger pressure and control. It makes vibrato more expressive and bends feel almost effortless, but it also demands a lighter touch and more precision. The Modern C neck keeps it comfortable and familiar in shape, while the super jumbo frets and 9.5” radius give you plenty of room to move. Combined with the vintage-style tremolo, it feels responsive, fast, and very alive under your hands, especially for lead-focused playing.

The no-load tone controls open things up even further, letting you run the pickups wide open for maximum brightness and attack when needed.
