Rare boutique Jackson Ampworks NewCastle 30 head with matching Jackson Ampworks Isolated 1x12 cabinet.

The cab has a Celestion speaker and supports 8Ω / 16Ω operation. Compact isolation-style 1x12 cab, useful for controlled stage volume, studio recording, church/worship use, or home recording.

The amp powers on and functions as expected. Tube age is unknown. Excellent boutique EL84-style amp with Vox/Marshall-inspired character and a strong pedal platform.

The Newcastle 30 is a compact, 30 watt guitar amp head built with a 12AX7 vacuum tube preamp. Bought brand new custom from U.S which was double the price The NewCastle 30 offers all of the features of the original NewCastle but has been upgraded with 30W of EL84 driven Class A power, an FX Loop and a Variable Power Supply which allows the amp to be adjusted between 30W and 1/8W seamlessly without any tonal change. This amp has amazing synergy with whatever you plug in to it, from muted, complex jazz tones to perfect ’70s crunch and everything in between. Super-solid 13-ply Baltic birch 1x12 dual ported cabinet. Nice and light at 20 pounds, and don't forget it comes with the front attaching Iso Cab that really brings a warmth to the sound. The closed-back speaker cabinet is home to a Celestion Alnico Gold speaker, a pair of vertically oriented, forward-firing ports, and a beefy steel handle that’s recessed for easy stacking. The head makes a cool mini stack. The NewCastle’s front panel is dead simple: a pair of knobs for volume and tone, plus a single input. Around back you’ll find speaker jacks with impedance selection and power and standby switches. A quick peek at the guts reveals top-quality construction and components, including Mallory capacitors, Carling switches, and Neutrik jacks.
