Tama 14x5 King Beat Superstar KG NO. 9605 in Natural Maple Snare Drum Made in Japan Vintage 70s 80s Kingbeat

Late-70s / early-80s Tama Superstar snare drum with KG parallel strainer. These were part of Tama’s top of, the line Japanese-made drums from the era and are known for their excellent sensitivity and classic birch tone.

The shell and hardware are in good overall player condition. Some non-original parts. Still functions and sounds / plays great

A few notes for transparency:
• Hoops are non-original triple-flanged hoops (originals would have been die-cast).
• The internal muffler works, but the mounting bracket was previously repaired with a metal piece and is not original.
• Normal cosmetic wear consistent with age.

Despite the non-original parts, this is still a fantastic sounding vintage Tama snare with a very responsive parallel action system. Great player drum and a cool piece of late 70s Tama history.
