FENDER Precision Bass model PB’57-LH T (2-Tone Sunburst), made in Japan in 1999.
Intended for the Japanese market.
Excellent craftsmanship, perfect playability. Excellent, very comfortable neck. Frets in very good condition: 8.5/10. Very good overall condition, some minor signs of wear (see photos for details).
Sound-wise: round, precise, powerful, and with a well-defined bass response. The maple fretboard provides a beautiful brightness and snap. A lightweight alder body was chosen over basswood for this example, weighing only 3.7 kg!
Like many imported '57 reissues, it offers perfect feel and comfort thanks in particular to the quality of its vintage amber finish, which is still very glossy. Ready to play immediately.
