The Powers Electric A-Type isn’t trying to be a “better version” of a classic — it’s a completely new vision of what an electric guitar can feel and sound like. Born from Southern California’s surf, skate, auto, and indie music culture, the A-Type blends lightweight resonance with unmistakable attitude, making it one of the most exciting modern instruments on the market.

The moment you pick it up, the trussed hollowbody design feels shockingly alive — loud, resonant, yet controlled. Chords bloom, leads sustain, and feedback stays in check even at stage volume. The asymmetrical fingerboard radius makes bending effortless and keeps tone consistent across the entire neck, while the proprietary CamTail vibrato system delivers smooth dives and bends without throwing the guitar out of tune.

This particular A-Type is finished in Frozen Berry Metallic, a striking, automotive-inspired color that shifts between cool pastel and vibrant metallic depending on the light.
