I made this pedal many years ago as I wanted a very specific thing - to route a vintage Big Muff through a JCM800 tone-stack for that Marshall sound into a non-marshall amp. I built an op-amp based preamp - boost with 3 band eq based on the JCM800 preamp and then added a 3 way toggle switch so you can select just the pedal, pedal through preamp when engaged, or preamp always on and pedal only on the footswitch. If you use a jumper cable in the loop you can use this as a standalone JCM preamp pedal, but I didn't prioritize adding that feature when I built this. I'm sure a clever person could rework the switching arrangement if needed. Anyways now that I have a Marshall to put my fuzz pedals through I no longer need this. Maybe you do! Maybe you don't, but you want it anyway. I don't judge - I've been there too.
