A piece of gear that needs no introduction.
A vintage Manley Voxbox channel strip, silver front version (rare). It was built in the beginning of the 2000s and has been used for the vocal recording of the first two albums of Daniel Bélanger, a legendary Quebec artist. There are chalk marks on the compressor settings to commemorate his presets, but those could be easily washed off.
Apart of light body imperfections, the machine works perfectly and sounds unbelievable. All tubes have been replaced with original ones between 2010 and 2020, they’re still good for a couple of years giving the low noise floor. Breaks my heart to part ways with it, but I need to finance a new project.
